RESCUE

Norwich Terriers are rarely found in shelters.  But if you think you have seen or found a Norwich Terrier in a shelter, on the street or lost, please contact us as soon as possible.  Ability to forward a photo of the dog will be especially helpful in verifying the dog is a Norwich.

Sometimes a Norwich may need to be rehomed due to unforeseen circumstances.  If you are unable to return your dog to the breeder, we will help with placement.

Our dedication to our breed is unquestionable and we will rescue any Norwich Terrier anywhere and anytime.

REFERRAL

The Norwich Terrier has been carefully bred in order to develop and maintain the unique characteristics attributed to these wonderful little dogs.  It is not by accident they are known for their hunting skills, breed type and wonderful temperament.

If you have done your research and come to the decision the Norwich Terrier is the dog for you, we look forward to discussing the breed with you and help find the dog to fit your lifestyle.

Because these special little dogs are sometimes hard to find, it is very tempting to purchase one from the first person who will ship you a dog.  All too often, these turn out to be mixed breeds passed off as Norwich and will end up in rescue.  The vast majority of dogs sold on internet sites are products of puppy mills; they are not purebred Norwich Terriers.

Please make sure that you are working with a responsible breeder who is dedicated to the betterment of this delightful breed.

Responsible breeders do their best to make sure their dogs go to good homes and never end up in a situation where they are neglected, abused or end up in rescue.  They are knowledgeable about the breed, health and testing.

Please expect to be asked questions by conscientious and caring breeders about the home you will provide for a Norwich.  You should also be asking the breeder questions about the care and maintenance of these amazing little dogs.   A contract protects both of you, but most importantly, should be written to protect the well being of the dog throughtout its lifetime.

NTCNC is not liable for any dealings between you and any breeders.  The NTCNC accepts no responsiblity for any transaction between seller an buyer.
